IN10 is a Rotterdam-based creative digital agency with experience in developing various kinds of PHP platforms. They wanted to get to know the details about Drupal 8 as this new version is quite different compared to Drupal 7, and turned to Druid for consultation.
What did we do?
We provided a full-day Drupal 8 consultation for two experienced developers. During the day we introduced them to Drupal 8 philosophy and concepts, best practices, configuration management and common tools. We also helped them in many practical issues and questions.
Results
IN10 developers gained a good understanding on Drupal 8 and actual problems were solved during the day. They were satisfied with the consultation, feeling well prepared to take on this new version of Drupal.

We started the consultation day with discussing Drupal 8 architecture, after which we dove into more detailed subjects, mostly related to the Drupal 8 theming layer and writing templates, views, access control, form handling, content architecture and display, search engine optimization and the block system. Together we built a couple of views and solved some of the Drupal 8 issues. The Drupal 8 configuration management was also covered, including how that would be a part of IN10’s deployment process.
